Delete Your Shabdly Account

We're sorry to see you go.

You have the right to delete your Shabdly account and all associated data at any time. Please read the information below to understand what happens when you delete your account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. The following data will be permanently removed:

  • All personal information (email, display name, profile picture)
  • Complete game history, scores, and statistics
  • Your streak record and current streak
  • All Desi Coins balance (forfeited, no refund)
  • Leaderboard rankings and tournament history
  • In-app purchase history

Premium subscription: If you have an active Shabdly Pro subscription, it will continue until the end of the current billing period but will not auto-renew. You must separately cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store to avoid being charged after account deletion.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using either of the two methods below:

Method 1: In-App

Open the Shabdly app and go to:

Settings → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion. Your account will be queued for permanent deletion.

Method 2: Via Email

Send an email from the address registered with your Shabdly account to:

delete@desichallenge.com

Include "Delete My Account" in the subject line. We will verify your identity and process the request.

Deletion Timeline

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of receiving your request. During this period:

  • Your account will be immediately deactivated and you will be signed out
  • Your profile will be removed from all leaderboards
  • Your data will be queued for permanent deletion from our servers
  • Once the 30-day period is complete, your data cannot be recovered

After Deletion

Once your account is deleted:

  • You can create a new Shabdly account using Google Sign-In at any time
  • The new account will start fresh with no previous data, scores, or coins
  • Previous streaks, achievements, and purchases cannot be restored
