These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Shabdly mobile application ("App") operated by Bhavna Infotech ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shabdly, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Shabdly is a daily word guessing game where players attempt to guess a 5-letter word within six tries. The game features:
- A new word every day, available to all players simultaneously
- Leaderboards ranked by score and streaks
- Virtual currency ("Desi Coins") earned through gameplay
- Optional premium subscription for additional features
- Tournaments with real-world voucher prizes
The basic game is free to play. Optional premium features are available through in-app purchases.
3. User Accounts
To use Shabdly, you must sign in using Google Sign-In. By creating an account, you agree that:
- You will maintain only one account per person
- You will provide accurate information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You will not share your account with others
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account
4. Gameplay Rules
By playing Shabdly, you agree to the following rules:
- Each player gets one play per daily word (no replays of the same word)
- You must not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game
- You must not exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages
- You must not reverse-engineer the app to discover future words
- You must not share the daily answer publicly before the day ends
- Leaderboard positions must be earned through legitimate gameplay
5. Premium Subscription
Shabdly offers an optional premium subscription ("Shabdly Pro") with additional features. By subscribing:
- Payment is processed through Google Play Billing
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- Prices may change with prior notice; existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect
6. Virtual Currency (Desi Coins)
Desi Coins are virtual tokens earned through gameplay or purchased via in-app purchases. Please note:
- Desi Coins have no real-world monetary value
- Desi Coins cannot be exchanged for real currency
- Desi Coins cannot be transferred between accounts
- We reserve the right to modify the Desi Coins economy (prices, earning rates) at any time
- Unused Desi Coins are forfeited upon account deletion
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in Shabdly, including but not limited to:
- The Shabdly brand name, logo, and visual identity
- Word lists and game content
- App design, code, and architecture
- Marketing materials and website content
are owned by Bhavna Infotech and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate display names
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other players
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the App's servers or infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Shabdly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for any loss of data, streaks, or Desi Coins due to technical issues
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You are found to be cheating or using automation
- You engage in abusive behaviour towards other players
- You attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the App

11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of Shabdly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
